Katalapi’s field Environmental Education instructors

Catalina Higueras, George Laban, Paz Barrientos, Federico Pfingsthorn

Our team of field instructors, directed by Ana María Vliegenthart, leads outdoor activities during school visits:

Catalina Higueras: Majored in eco-tourism and environmental engineering. Founded the Kiñewen Elemental Natura foundation.

George Laban: Majored in Tourism and Hotel Business. Diploma en Ecosystem Restauration and Environmental Services (ongoing).

Paz Barrientos: Co-founder of the Peumalemu Sustainable Development Foundation. Environmental engineer, majored in environmental science.

Federico Pfingsthorn. Civil constructor and high school mathematics professor. Also a ski instructor who loves outdoor sports and the andean mountains.
